He's even left a flub in the fourth track, "Sunset" ; "did he say 'different' or 'distant' ? or both?" All in the name of the "experimental" fringe of "music" that club culture can engender. Maybe blame the drugs - it's only 'the voice' the primary human tool of personal and group exploration, whether in dialogue or song ... That's always a topic for "post-structuralist club connaisseurs", but perhaps on a different Bat-Channel. :-)

Other than the spoken word tracks there are two instrumental tracks that are akin to german techno trance - Spicelab, Harthouse, Sven Vath or early acid house. "Brother 9" opens up with what sounds like a 'B-movie UFO landing sound effect' but turns into an interesting trance journey. "Sanctum Phantasm" is a little bit longer, a little bit more ennui but has some nice bird calls and a steady "acid house" rhythm - it reminds me of the humidity of a rainforest and the eternal tribal throb of the heart of our planet.

Overall, it's worth a buy and listen - available through Zolatone Music. Perhaps if Brad J gets the bucks with this he'll tune up his singing voice for a follow-up.
